Sicher, für den reinen Jazzer, der den traditionellen Sound sucht, sind die Combos das Maß aller Dinge. Sobald man aber im Jazz die traditionelle Soundrichtung verlässt, ist es unabdingbar, andere Lautsprecher einzusetzen, die einen offeneren Ton mit mehr Obertönen bringen. Im Fusion sowieso. Wer gleichzeitig auch noch Blues spielt und auch gerne mal einen Verzerrer vorschaltet, mag auch andere Lautsprecher einsetzen, als die typische Henriksen-Bestückung. Zum früheren Head hat Henriksen dafür ein anderes Cabinet im Angebot mit einem Cajun-Ragin Speaker. Mit dem Henriksen Bud Head sind nun alle Kombinationen denkbar: Jensen-like Lautsprecher oder WGS Veteran für einen fendrigen, akustischen Sound – Celestion V 30, Creamback, Blue Bulldogs für den Blues und Rock.
Was dabei bleibt ist der geniale Sound eines Henriksen, der bei Wohnzimmer-Lautstärke genauso warm + gut klingt, wie bei Full-Power auf der Bühne.
